Introduction

Founded by Ramlal Golchha in 1930, Golchha Organization was a pioneer in Nepal’s industrialization, starting with the export of jute to Europe. In 1947, the company established Biratnagar Jute Mills, Nepal's first industrial venture, cementing Golchha's legacy as the “Father of Industrialization.” Today, the organization is a diversified enterprise with interests in industries like jute, steel, electronics, and food grains, playing a key role in Nepal’s economic growth and international trade.

Arihant Multi-Fibres Ltd., established in 1993, is Nepal's leading jute manufacturer, producing high-quality, eco-friendly products like bags and sacks. With advanced machinery and a skilled workforce, they process 25,000 metric tons of jute annually, offering custom solutions and strong customer service.

Why JUTE?

Jute is a strong, durable fiber, making it ideal for products that need to withstand wear and tear, such as ropes, sacks, and bags. Despite being lightweight, it can hold heavy loads, making it popular for packaging materials.

Certainly, raw jute appears to be shiny and golden but that’s not it. Truly, Jute is one of the world’s most eco-friendly fibers to produce. That’s because they are completely 100% biodegradable and recyclable, they absorb CO2 and release oxygen even faster than most trees do, they grow with very little to no use of pesticides, enhance the fertility of soil they grow in, and rely on natural rainfall to grow. Jute is not only eco-friendly but also sustainable.
